Berry in Charlotte, NC, she was a part of many organizations and participated in many extracurricular activities such as HOSA, Student Council and the Gospel Choir...She began cheering at the age of six and hasn't stopped since...At Phillip O. Berry, she served as the team's first captain for two years where she received the MVP award and the coach's award in two consecutive years...Born to Johnny and Carolyn Tyson on March 8, 1987, she is biology major and plans to minor in music...She is a part of HCOP, Project Strengthen, and Honors College here on Winston-Salem State's campus.
