2023: Played and started in all 10 games for the Rams, the defensive captain finished this year with 52 total tackles, 25 solos, 15.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, 3 fumble recoveries, and 1 touchdown. Kyle finished 1st in all the CIAA in fumble recoveries (tied for 2
nd in all D2 football), 3
rd in tackles for loss, 7
th in sacks. He was named CIAA defensive linemen of the week for his performance against Elizabeth City St. with 4 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks. He was also a 2
nd team ALL-CIAA selection.
2022: Kyle Camar finished the 2022 season with 28 total tackles and 2.5 sacks.
Personal: Camar joined the Rams in the fall of 2019. He graduated from Rolesville High School where he was a two-time all-conference selection and was twice named defensive player of the week. Academically, he earned a spot on the honor roll as well. He is a Sports Management major and he is the son of Carlotta and Marvin Kyle.
