COACH RITSCHE ON HERBERT:  “Joe proved his durability over the course of the season with his ability to start games as well as come out of the bullpen in tight situations.  He will be back in our starting rotation this year once again and gained valuable experience as a freshman last year pitching in some big games.  He had to mature fast last year, especially starting our first game against the 2010 SAC champion Wingate as well as pitching in the NCAA D2 Atlantic Regional.”
