2011-12: Kimani had a strong first season with the Rams and showed flashes of great potential throughout the season…He played in all 30 games with 12 starts for the team…For the season, he averaged 5.4 points per game with 4.6 rebounds per game…His best game of the season came at Livingstone where he scored a career-high 27 points with nine rebounds…He recorded his first career double-double when he scored 13 points with a career-high 11 rebounds at Johnson C. Smith…He had a top-notch defensive effort at Fayetteville State where he recorded a career-high three blocked shots.

Personal: Kimani joined the Rams in the fall of 2011 where he was one of many talented newcomers to the team…He joined the Rams after spending two seasons at Davidson County Community College…During his time at DCCC, he was an academic standout with a 3.7 grade point average…He is a 2009 graduate of Riverside High School…During his time at Riverside High School, he earned a spot on the PAC 6 All-Conference team…He is a Sport Management major.
