Cooper Named Boxtorow National Player of the Week
Fuquay-Varina, NC - Winston-Salem State running back Nicholas Cooper has been named Boxtorow National Player of the Week. The 6-0, redshirt-junior from Clinton, NC played a huge role in WSSU's 38-18 victory over Elizabeth City State in the CIAA Championship Game. Cooper carried the ball 24 times for 163 yards and three touchdowns.
