CHARLOTTE, NC – After their best performance of the season, the honors came rolling in for the Winston-Salem State Rams as senior running back Kerrion Moore, freshman quarterback Dominique Graves, and junior free safety Daryus Skinner earned weekly honors from the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA). Moore was honored as the CIAA Offensive Back of the Week while Graves was named the CIAA Quarterback of the Week and Skinner was honored as the CIAA Defensive Back of the Week.
Moore brought home the honor after a great showing to lead the Rams to a 51-21 road win over the Fayetteville State Broncos. He finished the game with three touchdowns and 76 rushing yards. During the game, he passed the 3,000 career rushing yard plateau. The performance also marked his third three-touchdown game of the season and he was honored as the CIAA Offensive Back of the Week for the second time this season.
Graves was named the CIAA Quarterback of the Week for the second time in his freshman season after his effort at Fayetteville State as well. He completed 15-of-20 passes for 238 yards and two touchdowns and added nine carries for 29 yards and a rushing touchdown as well.
Skinner capped his tremendous regular season in style with a top defensive performance at Fayetteville State. He finished the game with two interceptions to accompany six total tackles (four solo) in the game. This also marks the second CIAA Defensive Back of the Week honor for Skinner.
