Rams Finish Seventh at 2012 PGA Minority Collegie Golf Championship

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – The Winston-Salem State University closed out the 2012 season with some strong efforts at the 2012 PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Championship, Saturday. The Rams closed the event with a team total 1,015 to rank seventh in the three-day event.

WSSU senior Glendon Mabe led the way for the Rams for the Rams with a three-day total of 234 to lead the way for the team. Sophomore Zachary Sheets had the lowest round of the tournament with a 74, Sunday. For the tournament, Sheets posted a 234. Senior Michael Asbury added a 248 three-day total while freshman Kyle Collins rounded out the effort for the Rams with a three-day total of 298.
