Lady Rams' Season Ends at 2012 CIAA Bowling Championships

DURHAM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (46-24) bowling team ended a successful 2011-12 season when the team reached the semifinal round of the 2012 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Bowling Championships, Monday afternoon.

The Lady Rams opened the day on a high note with a 4-3 win over Saint Augustine's College. The win in the elimination round kept the Lady Rams alive and advanced the team to the semifinal round of play. The Lady Rams would go on to take on the fourth-seeded Virginia State Lady Trojans. However, the momentum would end there when the Lady Rams' season came to an end with a 4-1 loss to the Virginia State Lady Trojans.
