The fall of 2009 will continue a new era in Winston-Salem State Lady Rams Bowling with head coach Corey Beers at the reins. An experienced bowler, Beers will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the staff and will look to lead the next era of Winston-Salem State University Lady Rams bowling.

Under his guidance, the Lady Rams bowling team has seen a marked improvement both in wins and pin totals. The team has notched numerous milestones with Beers at the helm and will continue to become a quality NCAA Division I program.

As an amateur, Beers has over 15 years of experience, taking part in numerous tournaments across the southeast. As a youth, Beers held the #3 ranking in the state of North Carolina, winning several regional tournaments along the way. He is currently a member of the United States Bowling Congress (USBC).

Beers has posted some phenomenal scores during his career, including a pair of 300 games, two 299 games, and one 297 game.

Coach Beers and his wife, Angela, are the proud parents of a two-year old daughter, Makinley.
