Lady Rams Close Releaser's Invitational With Tough Losses

WSSU suffers shutouts, heartbreaking loss

TALLAHASSEE, FL - The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams bowling team ended the Releaser's Invitational Tournament on a down note taking four shutout Baker game losses as well as a tough tiebreaking loss for a 10th place finish at the tournament. The Lady Rams faced some familiar foes and some new ones on Sunday.

 

The Lady Rams opened the day with four straight four game shutout losses, falling to Jackson State, North Carolina A&T, Florida A&M, and Fayetteville State, 4-0 in Baker games play. The squad ended the day with a heartbreaking loss, tying North Carolina A&T, 2-2 in Baker games, but taking the loss on total pins.

 

WSSU bowler Lucy Graham earned team MVP honors for her consistent play over the weekend.
