Lady Rams Close Out 2007 Season With Winless Final Day At FAMU Invite

TALLAHASSEE, FL - The Winston-Salem State University Lady Rams bowling team closed out competition at the Releaser's NCAA Bowling Invitational hosted by Florida A&M University with an 0-5 performance on Sunday's final day of the collegiate invitational.

The Lady Rams capped their final three-day weekend of the 2006-07 season with a winless record as they dropped 18 of 20 Baker Games en route to dropping a combined five Baker Matches to five different opponents.

WSSU started the day with a 3-1 loss to Bethune-Cookman College in Sunday's opening action. WSSU would then drop Baker Matches to Florida A&M University (3-1), South Carolina State (4-0), North Carolina A&T (4-0) and to Fayetteville State (4-0) to conclude play.

The Lady Rams close out the season with a 10-60 overall record as Winston-Salem State University looks to continue to add talent to the already skilled roster as WSSU makes the transition to the NCAA Division I level.
