Lady Rams Bowling Finishes First Day Of UMES Hawk Classic Winless

PRINCESS ANNE, MD - The Winston-Salem State University Lady Rams bowling team wrapped up the first day of competition from the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore Lady Hawk Bowling Classic with an 0-5 record as they fell to all five of Saturday's opponents.  The losses drop the Lady Rams to 0-15 on the season as they head into day two action from Princess Anne, MD.

 

Winston-Salem State started the afternoon with a loss to Grambling State University (609-815) before falling to Norfolk State University by the score of 750-486 to drop to 0-2 on the afternoon.

 

Following a brief intermission, the Lady Rams dropped three consecutive matches as they fell to Southern University (849-580), Vanderbilt University (869-590), and the host-team Lady Hawks of the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore (875-599).

 

The losses drop the Lady Rams to 0-15 on the season overall.  Winston-Salem State University returns to action on Sunday at 12:00 pm when they take to the lanes to compete in the Baker-Match portion of the UMES Lady Hawk Classic.
