Lady Rams Bowling Finishes First Day Of MEAC Southern Division Invite 1-4

PRINCESS ANNE, MD - The Winston-Salem State University Lady Rams bowling team wrapped up the first day of competition from the MEAC Southern Division Invitational hosted by North Carolina A&T State University with a 1-4 record as they earned a victory over Florida A&M. The Lady Rams improve to 1-24 on the season as they head into day two action from Greensboro, NC.
Winston-Salem State started the afternoon with a loss to Norfolk State University (723-612) before earning their lone win of the afternoon, a 697-669 victory over the Rattlers of Florida A&M University.
Following a brief intermission, the Lady Rams dropped three consecutive matches as they fell to Bethune-Cookman College (789-692), North Carolina A&T (765-648), and South Carolina State University (734-623) to drop to 1-4 on the day.
The 1-4 record moves the Lady Rams to 1-24 on the season overall. Winston-Salem State University returns to action on Sunday at 12:00 pm when they take to the lanes to compete in the Baker-Match portion of the MEAC Southern Division Invitational.
