Personal: The 2009-10 season will mark Jarvis' first season as a member of the Lady Rams' tennis team. Jarvis, a 5-6 right-handed singles player from West Lake High School in Atlanta, Ga. will be expected to immediately step into the Lady Rams' lineup and make an impact as she brings a wealth of competitive tennis experience to the court in the fall of 2009. An honor student at West Lake High School, Jarvis was a four-year star in high school where she was a multi-sport athlete. The only freshman on the varsity team in 2006, Jarvis has a proven record of success en route to the Coaches Award in both her sophomore (2007) and junior (2008) seasons at Westlake H.S. A team captain in 2008 and 2009 for the Lions, Jarvis capped her senior season with a team MVP award. A tennis player since the age of four, Jarvis has concentrated her athletic efforts solely on tennis for the last three years.
