Lady Rams Poised for Strong Effort at 2012 NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Tournament
DRIFTON, PA – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (20-9) tennis team will make its return to the national post-season when the team takes part in the 2012 NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Tournament this weekend. With an experienced squad that is loaded with talent and a wealth of momentum behind them, this season’s team is well-prepared to face the challenges of the post-season tournament play.

Lady Rams End 2012 Season with 5-0 Loss to #8 California (Pa.) at 2012 NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional
CALIFORNIA, PA – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (20-10) ended a great 2012 season with a 5-0 loss to the top-seeded host California (Pa.) Vulcans (22-5), Saturday afternoon in the opening round of the 2012 NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Tournament. The Lady Rams gave it their all, but the team could not get the points they needed against the eighth-ranked team in the nation.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Winston-Salem State University women's tennis team will travel to California (PA) to take on the #8 ranked, and #1 Atlantic Regional seed, Lady Vulcans of California (PA) at 1:00 p.m. in the first round of the NCAA Division II Women's Tennis Tournament on Saturday.

Lady Rams Take 5-0 Loss to Shaw in 2012 CIAA Women's Tennis Championship Match
PETERSBURG, VA – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (20-9) had their run at a second straight Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) championship when they took a 5-0 loss to the top-seeded Shaw Lady Bears, Saturday morning. Though the team gave a great effort, they were not able to put out the win against a talented Shaw team.

PETERSBURG, VA – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (20-8) advanced to finals of the 2012 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women’s Tennis Championship Tournament, Friday when the team took a 5-0 win over the host Virginia State Lady Trojans. The Lady Rams will look for their second straight CIAA championship when they take on the winner of the Shaw/Johnson C Smith semifinal match.

PETERSBURG, VA – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (19-8) took a 5-0 win over the Fayetteville State Lady Broncos to advance to the semifinals of the 2012 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women’s Tennis Championship Tournament, Thursday morning. The Lady Rams opened the tournament with a bang in a big win over their opening round foes.

RALEIGH, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (14-7, 11-2 CIAA) picked up another key Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) win, Saturday when the team took a 9-0 win over the Fayetteville State Lady Broncos at Lion’s Park in Raleigh, N.C. With the win, the Lady Rams remain in second place in the CIAA Southern Division with their only conference losses coming to the CIAA Southern Division leading Shaw Lady Bears.

WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (12-6, 8-1 CIAA) took a dominant 9-0 win over the Livingstone Lady Blue Bears, Sunday afternoon. The Lady Rams held the Lady Blue Bears to just one point in the 9-0 victory.

WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (11-6, 8-1 CIAA) bounced back for an 8-1 win over the Fayetteville State Lady Broncos, Saturday morning on the second day of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Southern Division Round-Up. After their morning start was delayed due to inclement weather, the Lady Rams never missed a beat as they took a win over the Lady Broncos.

Smith Lady Golden Bulls in a 9-0 win, Friday morning at the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Southern Division Round-Up. Though the Lady Rams allowed some key points to their division foes, the team would not give the win as they held on for the 9-0 victory.
