Winston-Salem State Tennis Match At UNC-Asheville Postponed

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – A winter weather advisory for the central and western part of North Carolina and a weather forecast that calls for up to two inches of snow accumulation and potential icy road conditions have forced the postponement of the WSSU Tennis matches at UNC-Asheville scheduled for Wednesday afternoon as announced by WSSU head tennis coach Charlie Schoderbek.

"We were looking forward to the match versus the Bulldogs but our primary concern is the safety of our student-athletes and rather than risk traveling in these conditions we have decided to postpone the matches.  Both the men’s and women’s matches will be rescheduled as soon as possible" Schoderbek said.
