Personal: The 2006-07 season will mark Pushkina's first season as a member of the WSSU track and field team where she will compete in the jumping events. A native of Moscow, Russia, she is a 2004 graduate of #500 High School in Moscow, Russia where she won a pair of junior championships. She was a member of a team that placed second at the Russian National Championships in 2003. Was a member of a team that placed third internationally in 2004 and second internationally in 2004. The daughter of Sergey and Ludmila Pushkina. An Art major at WSSU. Nicknamed "Val". Born in Moscow, Russia on December 23, 1987. Will participate in the jumping events at WSSU.
