WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -The Winston-Salem State University Women's Indoor Track and Field Team takes Third in the Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Highlighted by
Kennedy Alexander who finished first in the high jump with a mark of 1.64m (5'4") and
Ronee Tudor who finished first in the 60m final with a time of 7.67.
Running Events
- Daijion Lee qualified in the 400m with a time of 59.52.
- Ronee Tudor qualified in the 60m and 200m with times of 7.69 and 25.68 respectively.
- Amique Willis and Amiyah Murray both qualified in the 60m hurdle with times of 9.10 and 9.23 respectively.
Field Events
- Asia Lampe and Eriana Townes competed in the women's shot put and finished with marks of 11.39 (37.04.50) and 8.64 (28-04.25) respectively.
- Jayla Warren, Tionna Wilson, Kyndall Barrow, and Nia Hester competed in the triple jump and finished with marks of 11.59 (38.00.25), 11.37 (37.03.75), 10.93 (35.10.50), and 9.77 (32-00.75).
The Rams will be back in action on Saturday, February 18th at the Gamecock Invitational in Orangeburg, SC.
