CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Jakiya Mack from the Winston-Salem State University women's basketball team has been named the Food Lion Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week for week 14, announced Tuesday afternoon.

Mack led the Rams with a season-high 18 points in the victory over Claflin this week. The Greenville, South Carolina native also had two rebounds, three assists, and three steals on the night while shooting 7-for-10 from the field.

Mack and the Rams will be back in action tomorrow, February 15th playing Johnson C. Smith in Charlotte, North Carolina at 5:30 p.m.
