PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams had another great day with some strong performances at the 2015 Penn Relays. The Lady Rams competed in a pair of relay event on the track as well as field events at one of the most prestigious meets in the world.
The Lady Rams' 4x100m relay team got things started when they placed 10th in the event with a 46.70 in the event, an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying time. The team returned to the track to take part in the women's 4x400m relay. The team placed 24th in a field of 82 teams event with a 3:52.17. Individually, WSSU sophomore Tametris Morrison had another great day. The All-CIAA performer placed 13th in the women's 400m hurdles with a 1:01.75, an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying time.
The Lady Rams will return to action, tomorrow when senior Tajanel McNeil competes in the women's long jump and the WSSU relay teams compete in the college division of the women's 4x100m dash as well as the women's 4x200m dash.
