McNeil, Relays Lead Great Day at The Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams continued their stellar season with an impressive performance at The Penn Relays, Friday. The Lady Rams saw some great performances by their relay teams on the track as well as a great performance in the triple jump.

The Lady Rams' 4x100m relay team took center stage on the day when they placed fourth in the college division of the women's 4x100m relay with a 46.34 in the event. With the effort the team qualified for the finals of the event, tomorrow, a first for Lady Rams track & field.

Individually, WSSU senior Tajanel McNeil hit another career milestone when she placed third in the women's triple jump. She recorded a 41'8.75" (12.72m) in the event.
