CHARLOTTE, NC – After another great week, the Winston-Salem State Rams, brought home a pair of Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) honors as sophomore libero Myra Wallace and sophomore setter Rylee Wilson was named CIAA Players of the Week. Wallace was named the CIAA Defensive Player of the Week while Wilson was named the CIAA Setter of the Week.
Wallace took home the honor after performing as one of the Rams' top defensive players last week. She finished the week with 33 total digs. Her best effort came against CIAA defending champion Shaw when she totaled 19 digs while leading the team to a five-set win. She also had three assists and two service aces during the week.
Wilson was honored after coordinating the Rams' offense during the week. She totaled 51 assists during the week, including recording 32 in a win over Shaw. She also has 17 digs and a service ace.
