  • Rams Place Third at 2019 CIAA Women's Cross Country Championship

    SALEM, VA – The Winston-Salem State Rams women’s cross country team continued their run as one of the top teams in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) when the team placed third at the 2019 CIAA Women’s Cross Country Championship Meet, Thursday. The third place finish was the team’s best finish since the 2017 season and it marked the 10th straight top-five team finish for the Rams.

    CARY, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams cross country teams hit the course for the Cedric Walker 10th Annual HBCU Cross Country Challenge, Saturday morning. The Rams men’s and women’s teams competed against some of the top HBCU cross country teams from both NCAA Division II and Division II at the meet.
  • Rams Cross Country Teams Perform Well at 36th Annual Greensboro Cross Country Invitational

    GREENSBORO, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams men’s and women’s cross country teams had some impressive performances at the 36th Annual Greensboro Cross Country Invitational at Hagan Stone Park in nearby Greensboro, N.C. The Rams men’s team placed third among NCAA Division II teams and the women placed fourth among NCAA Division II teams.

    SALISBURY, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams women’s cross country opened their season with a bang when the team placed third in the 2019 Fleet Feet Cross Country Invitational, Saturday morning. The Rams totaled 130 points to place third in the meet against some quality competition.
