Week #10 for the WSSU Rams
#11 Winston-Salem State University (8-1) remains at home for one of the most important games in the Maynor era, as the Rams host Fayetteville State University in a key Southern Division matchup. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.

WSSU is undefeated in conference play and looks to clinch a berth in the CIAA Championship game next week with a win.

This is a winner advance, and loser go home game.

WSSU has won 23 consecutive games against CIAA competition, and is 27-2 against those same teams in coach Connell Maynor's tenure.

"Our next game is always out biggest game. Fayetteville State is our next game and we are putting everything into it to try and win the game", says Maynor.

"We do not want a loss and leave our fate in the hands of someone else. We still control our own destiny.  We can still accomplish all of our goals - CIAA Championship, Super Region 1 Championship, HBCU National Championship and D2 National Championship."
