The Winston-Salem State University (2-1) will open up the CIAA portion of its 2013 schedule, as the Rams travel to Richmond, VA to take on the Panthers of Virginia Union University (0-3).
 
The WSSU Rams are beginning to find their stride on both sides of the ball, and it could not come at a better time with conference play set to start.
 
WSSU has won 17 consecutive games against CIAA competition, and is 22-2 against those same teams under head coach Connell Maynor.
 
The Series
The contest will be the 43rd meeting on the gridiron between the two CIAA schools.
