The #14 ranked Winston-Salem State Rams open the 2014 season, its first under Kienus Boulware as head coach, on Saturday when the Braves of UNC Pembroke invade Bowman Gray Stadium for an early season ranked matchup. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

This is the third straight year these two teams have met to open the season.

UNCP Pembroke spoiled the seasdon opener in 2013 for WSSU, as the Braves held on for a 25-212 upset victory in Pembroke on a live CBS Network broadcast.

WSSU will be looking to get a little payback, when UNCP comes to town. WSSU is 2-0 versus UNC Pembroke in Winston-Salem.
