HAMPTON, VA – The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association in conjunction with the CIAA Sports Information Directors Association announced the CIAA Baseball Players and Coach of the Week on Wednesday afternoon, and WSSU baseball has earned two selections.

WSSU's Connor Andrus, (Sr, C - Winston-Salem, NC) has been selected as the CIAA Offensive Player of the Week.

Andrus continues his assault on opposing pitching, as Andrus hit .667 this week, going 8 for 12 with one double, one home run and four runs batted in WSSU's 4-0 week.

Also, Winston-Salem State coach, Kevin Ritsche, has been named CIAA coach of the Week.

Ritsche, led his Rams to a 4-0 week and a #29 national ranking.The Rams are currently 31-12 overall, 11-1 in the CIAA.
