Last Time Out
Last time out the Rams took on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in an exhibition game.
Jonathan Hicklin finished with 17 points. Jaylen Alston finished with 13 and Nathan Spring finished with 11. The rams were defeated by the Demon Deacons 69-82.

Ram Newcomers:
The Rams welcomed freshman Jeremy Dixon, Jarius Northam, Ketron "KC" Shaw, junior Jaylon Gibson, and graduate student Nathan Springs during the off-season.
CIAA Preseason:
Jonathan Hicklin and
Isaac Parson were named to the All-CIAA preseason team Backcourt and Nathan Springs was named to the All-CIAA Frontcourt team. Overall, the Rams were selected to finish third in the season and second in the Southern Division.
Scouting Report
Last year Clarion University finished (9-18, 5-17 Pennsylvania State Athletic). Clarion were led by The Golden Eagles return three regular starters from a year ago in junior guards Gerald Jarmon and Mekhi Reynolds, as well as sophomore center Madior Seye. Jarmon ranked third in the PSAC in scoring last year with a 20.3 points per game average in 2021-22, scoring 20 or more points in 16 of 27 games and more than 30 on four separate occasions. Last season he posted the second-highest single-game scoring total in program history, scoring 51 points against Edinboro on Feb. 7.
The Crimson Hawks finished (33-3, 20-2 NABC) last year. The Crimson Hawks challenged Syracuse earlier this week, holding a lead until around midway through the second half before falling 86-68. Dave Morris posted a game-high 21 points, securing a double-double with 10 assists as one of three players in double figures for IUP. The Crimson Hawks were picked as the preseason favorite to win the PSAC Western division, the league announced Thursday.
