Durham County Memorial Stadium has a clear bag policy.
• Bags must be CLEAR plastic, vinyl, or PVC and not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
. Bags cannot be tinted
with color or include oversized content that prevents visibility into the clear bag.
• Only non-clear bags that are smaller than 4.5" x 6.5" will be permitted into the stadium.
•Any type of non-clear bag exceeding 4.5" x 6.5" in size will not be permitted. Exceptions will only
be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection by security personnel.

Last Time Out vs. Shaw
WSSU got on the scoreboard first after
Octavis McLaurin intercepted the ball at the Shaw 23-yard line and returned it for 22-yards to the Shaw one-yard line to set up the Rams' offense. The Rams ended the drive with a 22-yard field goal to give Winston-Salem a 3-0 lead with 2:44 seconds left in the first quarter.
In the second quarter freshman quarterback, Nicholas Jackson who earned his first career start ran the ball from the one-yard line to score, and with the extra point, the Rams went up 10-0.
Shaw eventually tied the game at 10-10 going into halftime. The Rams' special team had a huge play when
Narique Smith blocked a punt and senior
Willy Blackstock recovered the ball and returned it 68-yards for a touchdown. With the extra point, the Rams went up 17-10 with 10:19 left in the third quarter.
Shaw's Last Time Out
Shaw erased a halftime deficit to knock off JCSU 21-10 for homecoming last Saturday.
Last Time Out vs. Livingstone
The Blue Bears jumped out to an early 17-0 lead going into halftime. The Rams answered back taking the lead in the fourth quarter but Livinstone's Jason Zapata kicked the game-winning field goal to win the game 23-21.
CIAA Weekly Awards
Camar Kyle was named Defensive Lineman of the Week, while teammates
Justin Fleming was named Defensive Back, and
Daylin Lee earned Rookie of the Week accolades for week three.
Redshirt Junior Defensive Back
Dante Bowlding was named CIAA Defensive Back of the Week for week four after he returned a pick-six 52 yards for a touchdown extending the lead to 27-0. Bowlding finished the game with four tackles (2 solo), and one forced fumble.
CIAA Pre-Season/Poll
The Rams were picked fourth in the Southern Division and seventh overall.
