WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- The Winston-Salem State University defeated Livingstone College Tuesday evening inside Whitaker Gym.

The Rams won the match 3-1 (25-22, 25-21, 25-14, 25-20) and improved to (9-13, 6-5 CIAA).
 
Pregame Celebration
Thanks to the Blazer campaign the volleyball team received their blazers from Col (Ret) Terry Adams before the match. Mr. Adams made a donation to the team by purchasing a blazer for every student-athlete and the coaches.
 
How it Happened
In set one the Rams kept it close, but the Blue Bears pulled away to win the set 25-22. Set two, the Rams caught fire using a 5-0 run to regain the lead and win the set 25-21. In set three the Rams dominated twinning 25-14. In set four both teams gained momentum and it was the Rams that scored the final four points winning the set 25-20 and the match 3-1.
