ORANGEBURG, S.C- The Winston-Salem State University volleyball team defeated the Panthers of Claflin University inside Tullis Arena 3-1 (25-18, 25-21, 25-20, 25-20).

How it Happened
Set one the Rams used a 6-0 run to take the lead and not look back winning the set 25-18. Set two the Panthers got hot going on a 5-0 run to extend the lead despite a comeback from the Rams, CU won 25-21. Set three the Panthers stayed hot early, gaining an early lead until the Rams went on a 5-0 run to take the lead, holding the lead and winning the set 25-20. Set four after losing the lead early the Rams went on a 5-0 run to take the lead back pushing them to close out the set 25-20 and the match.
