Box Score DURHAM, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State volleyball team fought hard Tuesday night inside CC Spaulding gymnasium but fell 3-1 (25-12, 25-16, 23-25, 25-20) to the Bears of Shaw University.

WSSU moved to (2-6, 0-1 CIAA), while Shaw improved to (11-4, 4-0 CIAA).

How it Happened
Sets one and two went to Shaw. Long scoring runs in set one, set Shaw up to take the matches 25-12 and 25-16, respectively. The Rams battled back in set three winning 25-23, but Shaw took set three, 25-20, and the match 3-1.
