LU Last Time Vs JCSU
The Lions fell short to the Golden Bulls 27-20. JCSU started the game off strong as the Golden Bulls jumped to a 10-0 lead by the end of the first quarter. But the Lions caught fire in the second quarter as Lincoln (PA) used a 6 plays 23-yard drive capped off by a 5-yard rushing touchdown. The Lions kept the momentum as they used the next offensive drive with a 65-yard touchdown pass with the extra point gave the Lions a 14-10 going into halftime.

Mid-way through the third quarter the Golden Bulls regained the lead on a 1-yard rushing touchdown with the extra point making the score 17-14. Still down going in the fourth quarter, the Lions looked to retake the lead, but not before another rushing touchdown by the Golden Bulls extending the lead with the extra point to 24-14. The Lions offense found a spark when quarterback Isaiah Freeman threw a 19-yard touchdown making the score 24-20. LU's defense got a key stop, focusing on a Golden Bulls field goal making the score 27-20. Needing a touchdown, the Lions drove the ball down the field and a penalty cost the Lions valuable yards as the clock expired.

WSSU shut out the Big Blue 30-0 in Bowman Gray Stadium. In a strong offense by the Rams, an
Asa Barnes rushing touchdown began the scoring for the Rams 6-0. On the defensive side of the ball, there were two huge, forced turnovers that were both brought back for touchdowns. First defensive end
Camar Kyle recovered a fumble and took it back 84 yards for a touchdown. Then in the second half defensive back
Dante Bowlding took a pick-six and ran it back 52 yards for a touchdown making the score 27-0.

CIAA Weekly Awards
- Camar Kyle was named Defensive Lineman of the Week, while teammates Justin Fleming was named Defensive Back, and Daylin Lee earned Rookie of the Week accolades for week three.
- Redshirt Junior Defensive Back Dante Bowlding was named CIAA Defensive Back of the Week for week four after he returned a pick-six 52 yards for a touchdown extending the lead to 27-0. Bowlding finished the game with four tackles (2 solo), one forced fumble.
