WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- The Winston-Salem State University men's basketball team will begin divisional play, traveling down to Charlotte, North Carolina. The Rams will take on Johnson C. Smith on Saturday, January 13th inside Brayboy Gymnasium. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.

CIAA Preseason:
Isaac Parson was named to the All-CIAA preseason team Backcourt and
Jaylen Alston was named to the All-CIAA Frontcourt team. Overall, the Rams were selected to finish fourth in the season poll and third in the Southern Division.

- Imajae Dodd was named CIAA Defensive Player of the Week for weeks two, six, and nine.

The men were ranked 5th this week after wins over Elizabeth City State on January 4th, then Virginia State on January 6th.

Avery Huggins is the Golden Bulls leading scorer averaging 18.5 points a game, followed by Ezekiel Cannedy averaging 12.2 points per game.
