WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- The Winston-Salem State University volleyball team will continue their road swing on Wednesday, October 23rd traveling to Orangeburg, South Carolina, to take on the Lady Panthers of Claflin University. The match is set to begin at 6:00 p.m. inside Tuliis Arena.

Later in the week, the Rams will participate in the second round-up on October 26th and October 27th, hosted by Virginia State University inside the Multipurpose Center. 

First up, the Rams will take on Virginia Union University, on Saturday, October 26th starting at 1:00 p.m. and then later in the day, they will take on Lincoln University (Pa.) at 5:00 p.m.  On Sunday, October 27th the Rams will take on Bowie State University, the match is set for 11:00 a.m.

The Rams went a perfect 2-0 during the Tri-Match on Saturday, October 19th. The Lady Rams defeated Pensacola Christian College 3-2. Later that day, the Rams swept Clinton College 3-0.

Scouting Claflin University
The Panthers fell to Shaw University 3-0, on Tuesday, October 15th. Keymara Coleman leads the Panthers in kills with 48. Siri Davis leads in assists with 122, aces with 12, and blocks with 13. MeAuhre Lewis leads the Panthers in digs with 148.

Scouting Virginia Union University
The Panthers fell to Bluefield State University 3-0 on Thursday, October 17th.  Alana Simmons leads the Panthers in kills with 195, aces with 36, and digs with 182. Ashlee Franklin leads the team in assists with 318 and Jada Lane leads in blocks with 53.

Scouting Lincoln University (Pa.)
The Lions fell to  Virginia Union 3-1 on Monday, October 14th. Kendra Williams leads the Lions in kills with 68. Jaida Lumpkin leads in assists with 336 and aces (19). Janiece Lumpkin leads in digs with 94, and Laila Newborn leads blocks with 26.

Scouting Bowie State University
The Bulldogs defeated Lincoln (PA) 3-0 on October 21st. Nina Edwards leads the Bulldogs in kills with 131 and blocks (51).  Trinity Loundmon leads in assists with 259 and Taylor Johnson leads in digs (225).
