WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- The Winston-Salem State University volleyball team is set for the first CIAA Roundup of the season, hosted by WSSU. The roundup will be held on Saturday, October 5th & Sunday, October 6th.
First up, the Rams will take on Bluefield State University on Saturday, October 5th at 11:00 a.m. WSSU will return to action later on that day, as they face-off against Elizabeth City State University at 4:00 p.m. The Rams will be back to action the next day on Sunday, October 6th as they take on Virginia State University. The match is set for 5:00 p.m.
All three of the Rams matches will be held inside C.E. Gaines Center.

The Vikings swept Fayetteville State 3-0 on Monday, September 30th. Jada Rouse leads the Vikings in kills with 75 . Rouse also leads the team in aces with 16. Angel Bowmen leads the Vikings in assists 145. Naijya Leggett leads in digs with 197, Andrea Rose leads the team with 35 blocks.
Scouting Virginia State University
The Trojans defeated Bowie State 3-1 on Thursday, September 26th. Graice Darville leads the Trojans in kills with 69. Peyton Reese leads the Trojans in assists 109. Adrianna Bacon leads in aces with six, Kellee Craig leads digs with 60, Aniya McKiinley leads the team with 36 blocks.
