WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- The Winston-Salem State University men's basketball team will begin the CIAA Tournament playing in the quarterfinals in Baltimore Maryland, on Wednesday. February 28th. The Rams will take on #6 Bluefield State University. Tip-off is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. inside CFG Bank Arena.

Series Information vs. Bluefield State University
This will be the fourth match-up between the Rams and the Big Blue, the Rams lead the series 3-0. This will be the second match-up between the Rams and the Big Blue this season. The Rams won the first match-up 82-71 on December 7th, 2023.
Last Time Out
The Rams defeated Livingstone College 77-57 on Saturday, February 24th.

CIAA Preseason:
Isaac Parson was named to the All-CIAA preseason team Backcourt and
Jaylen Alston was named to the All-CIAA Frontcourt team. Overall, the Rams were selected to finish fourth in the season poll and third in the Southern Division.

- Jaylen Alston was named CIAA Offensive Player of the Week for weeks two, three, 12 and 15.
- Jaylen Alston was named HBCU National Player of the Week once this season.
- Imajae Dodd was named CIAA Defensive Player of the Week for weeks two, six. and seven.

CIAA Postseason Awards
Isaac Parson was named to the All-CIAA Backcourt and
Jaylen Alston was named to the All-CIAA Frontcourt.
Alston was also named the CIAA Player of the Year, while
Imajae Dodd was named the CIAA Defensive Player of the Year and head Coach
Cleo Hill, Jr. was named the CIAA Men's Coach of the Year.
