BLUEFIELD, WV. - After a two-hour delay the Winston-Salem State University Rams defeated Bluefield State 34-3 inside Mitchell Stadium.
The Rams move to 1-0 on the season, while the Big Blue move to 0-1.

- Daylin Lee passed complete to Nehemiah Williams for 5 yards, and the extra point was good which gave the Rams a 7-0 lead with 12:10 to play in the first quarter.
- Next, Lee threw a 56-yard pass to Myles Dillon for another Rams touchdown, and with the extra point the Rams led 14-3 with 3:34 left to play in the first quarter.
- A three-yard run up the middle from Gabe Linen gives the Rams a 21-3 lead over the Big Blue with 9:31 to play in the first half.
- Noah Marshall had a one-yard touchdown run to give the Rams a 27-3 lead with 5:54 remaining in the second quarter.
- With his sixth career interception, Justin Fleming gave the Rams a 34-3 lead with 7:04 left to play in the third quarter.
