WSSU Football Set to Play Ohio Dominican for Home Opener Saturday Night

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- The Winston-Salem State University football will host Ohio Dominican University for their 2024 home opener.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on September 14th, Inside Bowman Gray Stadium.

The game is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. inside Bowman Gray Stadium. Gates open an hour before kickoff.

Last Time vs. NC A&T 
The Rams fell to the Aggies in overtime 27-20, on Saturday, September 7th, 2024. Daylin Lee passed 13-for-27 yards with a rushing touchdown. Defensively Justin Fleming led the way with 14 tackles.

Last Time Old Dominican vs Seton Hill
The Panthers defeated Seton Hill University 21-14, on Thursday, September 5th, 2024. Drew Gallahue passed for 19-for-27 with three passing touchdowns. 

Last Time vs. Ohio Dominican 
The Rams fell to Old Dominican 26-14 on September 9th last season. Daylin Lee passed for 22-for-33 with a passing touchdown. Camar Kyle led the defense with seven tackles. 

CIAA Weekly Awards 
Justin Fleming was named Defensive Back of the Week for Week one. Fleming had 14 tackles with 11 being 11 being solo tackles. 

Up Next 
The Rams will open conference play, traveling to Petersburg, Virginia on September 21st. The Rams will take on Virginia State University. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. inside Rogers Stadium.
