LAURINBURG, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University women's basketball team fell short to St. Andrews 50-45 Monday evening.
The Rams move to (3-9, 0-4 CIAA) on the season.

Kierran Walker led the Rams with 14 points, while
Jakaiya Mack scored nine followed by
Khauri Little with eight.
Maya-Madison Walker had nine rebounds. The Rams scored 18 points in the paint, while shooting 18-of-60 from the field.
How it Happened
In the first quarter, the Knights outscored the Rams 16-5. Even though the Rams answered back outscoring St. Andrews 18-11 in the second quarter the Knights took a 27-23 lead into halftime.
The Rams dominated the third quarter outscoring St. Andrews 15-8 but still trailed by three, 35-38 to go into the fourth quarter. Points exchanged back in the forth quarter but the Knights pulled away winning the contest by five.
