WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Daniel Williams from the Winston-Salem State Univeristy football team has earned Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) weekly honors for week eight, the league announced Monday afternoon.

Williams (Raleigh, N.C.) was named CIAA Linebacker of the Week after recording 11 total tackles (five solo, six assists). Williams best play came on a sack with a net loss of six yards, helping the Rams to a 42-10 victory. 

Williams and the Rams will be back in action on Saturday, October 25 at Johnson C. Smith. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
