WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Celina Johsnon from the Winston-Salem State University volleyball team has earned Central Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (CIAA) weekly honors, the league announced Wednesday morning.

Johnson (Laurel, Md) had two kills, 15 total kills, 58 assists, three aces, one block and 20 digs. Johnson's best game came on October 4th against Bluefield State with one kill, 23 assists, one block and three digs. Johnson also had 20 assists and 11 digs against Shaw on September 29th. 

This is Johnson's second rookie of the week honor this season.

Johnson and the Rams will host Johnson C. Smith for its season opener tomorrow, October 9 at 6:00 pm inside Whitaker Gym.
