Series Information vs. Wheeling University 
Since 2021, this will be the 2nd meeting between the Rams and Cardinals. Last time, the Rams defeated the Cardinals 66-65 on November 13th, 2021.  

Rams Returners:
The Rams brought back eight returners from last year's team, sophomores CJ Alston, Khyelle Ingram, Samuel Newkirk, redshirt sophomore Masaun Bryant, juniors Lance Gill and Jaiden Thompson, senior Abou Camara and redshirt senior Tyre Boykin.
  
Ram Newcomers:
During the off-season the Rams welcomed seven newcomers, freshmen Bryson Cowan, Arrington Kee, sophomores Treyton "Tre" Crite, and Isaiah Sutherland, seniors Demetri Patterson and Isaish Ray and redshirt senior Ethan English.
                                                          
CIAA Preseason/Poll
Overall, the Rams were selected to finish 12th in the CIAA preseason poll.

Last Time Out
The Rams Virginia University of Lynchburg 94-77 on November 18. Ethan English led the Rams with 17 points, followed by Khyelle Ingram with 14 points; both Tyre Boykin and Masaun Moore-Byrant chipped in with 13 points. 

Scouting Report 
Tyre Boykin is the Rams' leading scorer with 18.0points  per game, followed by Ethan English with 12.3 points per game. WSSU is averaging 69.6 points per game. 

Wheeling University (1-2, 0-0 MEC)
The Cardinals fell to Slippery Rock University 82-71 on November 19. Ayden Goll leads with 17.0 points per game, followed by Tee Harris Jr. with 12.3 points and Caleb Murray with 10.7 points. Wheeling is averaging 79.3 points per game.
