WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Evan Powell from the Winston-Salem State University football team was selected to the HBCU Legacy Bowl.

Powell, a senior from Mebane, North Carolina finished the season for the Rams being named to the All-CIAA second team. He was named CIAA Defensive Back twice this season.
He recored 71 tackles (41 assists, 35 solo), four pass break-ups and had one interception.

The game will take place in February in New Orleans.
