SALISBURY, N.C. - The Winston-Salem State University women's basketball team drop close contest to Livingstone in double- overtime 91-84, inside New Trent Gym.
The Rams moved to (5-15, 1–9 CIAA, 1-4 South) on the season.
Christiana McLean led the Rams with 19 points, followed by
La'Niya Simes with a double-double 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Karina Scott chipped in with 12 points. Defensively Maya Madison-Walker had 14 rebounds.

Karina Scott three-pointer 20-17 (3:02). LC took a 25-19 lead into the second quarter.
In the second quarter, the Rams went on a 9-1 run, taking their first lead of the game on a
La'Niya Simes and-one 28-26 (6:51).
Kierran Walker tied the game 37-37, on a three-pointer with 6 seconds remaining in the half.
Christiana McLean made a lay-up as time expired, giving the Rams a 39-37 lead going into halftime.
In the third quarter, LC went on a 7-1 run, taking a 44-40 lead (5:44). The Rams answered back with a 6-0 run, on a
Kierran Walker three-pointer (4:58). The Blue Bears went on a 9-2 run, giving LC a 52-48 lead (2:44). The Blue Bears took a 56-52 lead into the fourth quarter.
In the fourth quarter, LC went on a 5-1 run, extending their lead to 61-55 (7:55). The Rams went on a 7-0 run, taking a 67-66 lead on a

La'Niya Simes hit the go-ahead lay-up ,71-70 with 35 seconds left in the game. LC tied the game at 74-74 with 5 seconds left. The Blue Bears missed the game-winning and-one, as the game was 74-74 going into overtime.
In overtime,
La'Niya Simes gave the Rams an 80-78 lead, on lay-up with 1:26 remaining in overtime. LC tied the game at 80-80 with 1:07 left in overtime. The game was tied 81-81 going into double overtime. In double-overtime the Blue Bears outscored the Rams 10-3.
