Men’s Basketball to Play Lincoln (Pa.) in the Opening Round of the CIAA Tournament Wednesday

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- The Winston-Salem State University men's basketball will play Lincoln University (Pa.) in the opening round of the CIAA Tournament, as the 6th seed in the south on Wednesday, February 26th. Tip-off is scheduled for 12:10 p.m. inside the CFG Bank Arena.

Series Information vs. Lincoln University (Pa.)
Since 2005 this will be the 19th meeting between the Rams and Bulldogs. This will be the second match-up this season. Last time, the Lions defeated the Rams 67-59 on January 13th, 2025.  
 
Rams Returners:
The Rams brought back four returners from last year's team, sophomore Lance Gill, junior Jeremy Dixon, seniors Ralph Bland and Stefon McLeod.

During the off-season the Rams welcomed 11 newcomers freshman's CJ Alston, Khyelle Ingram, Samuel Newkirk, redshirt freshman Masaun Moore-Bryant, sophomores Jaiden Thompson, Wesley Tubbs juniors Lorenzo Caldwell, Tyre Boykin, Abou Camara, J'vonni Roblejo, and senior Micah Jones

Overall, the Rams were selected to finish fifth in the CIAA preseason poll.

Last Time Out
The Rams defeated Livingstone College 77-71 on Saturday, February 22nd.Tyre Boykin led the Rams with 18 points, followed by Jaiden Thompson with 12 points and eight rebounds, Masaun Moore-Bryant with 11 points and Khyelle Ingram chipped in with 10 points.
