In the first half, the Lions took an early 8-2 lead (16:19). LU extended their lead to 15-6 (12:00). A Masaun Moore-Byrant lay-up, cut the score to 15-8 (11:14). The Lions went on a 7-1, pushing their lead to 22-9 (9:40). The Rams closed out the half on a 11-6 run, giving the Lions a 28-20 lead into halftime.
In the second half, the Rams went on a 6-2 run, trimming the lead 30-26 on a
Tyre Boykin lay-up (15:58). LU answered back with a 6-0 run, giving them a 36-26 lead (14:14). A Masaun Moore-Byrant three-pointer cut the Lions lead to 42-37 (7:32). The Lion went on a 11-1 run, extending their lead to 52-38 (4:32).
