The Rams defeated the Mountain Lions 28-25, on Saturday, September 6th. Daylin Lee went 19-37 with 198 passing yards with two passing touchdowns. JaQuan Kelly rushed for 74 yards on 15 attempts and two rushing touchdowns. Khalil Stimpson led with seven total tackles.

Three Rams were selected to the All-CIAA Preseason Team this year.  Junior quarterback Daylin Lee along with teammates, junior tightend Devin Cunningham and senior offensive lineman Elijah Gordan. 
 
CIAA Weekly Award 
 
Christian Brown was named Special Team Player of the Week for week one, while Austin Pittman was named Offensive Lineman of the Week for week one.
