WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Three student-athletes from the Winston-Salem State University football team earned Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) weekly honors for week two, the league announced Monday evening.

Quarterback Daylin Lee (Shelby, NC) was named quarterback of the week after he completed 15 of 17 passes for 251 yards and  four total touchdowns (three passing, one rushing touchdown), including throws of 83 and other big plays. On the ground, Lee also added 7 carries for 44 yards and a rushing touchdown, in a 51-14 victory. 

Offensive lineman Zaire Falls (Charlotte, NC) was named offensive lineman of the week after he helped anchor the offense with 499 total yards, 252 passing yards and 248 rushing yards.

Christopher "CJ" Brown (Charlotte, NC) was named defensive lineman of the week after he had four tackles (all solo), two tackles for loss for six yards and a sack for fours yards.

The Rams will be back in action on Saturday, September 20 hosting Virginia State at 1 p.m. inside Bowman Gray Stadium.
