The Rams defeated the Lions 51-14, on Saturday, September 13th. Daylin Lee went 15-17 with 251 passing yards with four passing touchdowns. Jaylen Grimes had six catches for 87 yards and a receiving touchdown. Evan Powell led with 12 total tackles. 
 
Last Time Out Virginia State vs. Norfolk State University 
 
The Trojans fell to Norfolk State University 34-31 in overtime, on Saturday, September 6th. Rahsaan Matthews Jr went 21-for-42 recording 299 passing yards and two touchdown passes. Marquis Smith had six receptions for 105 yards and a receiving touchdown. Mehkhi Johnson recorded seven total tackles.  
 
Last Time Out vs. Virginia State University 
 
The Rams defeated the Trojans 15-14, on Saturday, September 21st, 2024. Daylin Lee went 12-for-23 for 115 passing yards. Trevon Hester rushed for 143 yards. Gilberto Lorenzana kicked the game-winning field goal with three seconds remaining.

The Rams were picked to finish fifth in the preseason poll.

Three Rams were selected to the All-CIAA Preseason Team this year.  Junior quarterback Daylin Lee along with teammates, junior tightend Devin Cunningham and senior offensive lineman Elijah Gordan. 
 
CIAA Weekly Award 
 
  • Christian Brown was named Special Team Player of the Week for week one, while Austin Pittman was named Offensive Lineman of the Week for week one. 
  • Quarterback Daylin Lee & teammates offensive lineman Zarie Falls and defensive line Christopher "CJ" Brown" all took weekly honors for week two.
